Since Taylor Swift is unattached, dating allegations have begun to proliferate. The “Bejeweled” singer has been linked to Dylan O’Brien, Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso, and even Bradley Cooper since her breakup with longtime companion Joe Alwyn became public last month.
On Thursday (May 4), new rumors surfaced on the Internet that Taylor Swift is dating The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, according to The Sun, which cites a source as saying the two are “both massively proud and excited about this relationship.”
Since her divorce from Joe Alwyn last month, speculations of a new Taylor Swift relationship have circulated.
Swift and Healy are longstanding acquaintances, with Swift surprising fans at the band’s O2 Arena concert in London in January by covering The 1975’s “The City” and performing “Anti-Hero” for the first time.
In an interview with BBC Radio 1 in October, Healy and his bandmate George Daniel denied rumors of a collaboration with Swift. Healy stated, “No, we’re not working with Swift.” We would adore to. I’d adore working with Taylor Swift. Cherish Taylor Swift. Consider her to be one of the finest composers.”
He added facetiously, “She’s probably sat there watching this, yearning for a feature on a 1975 song.”
Obviously, the dating allegations are merely rumors, and neither Swift nor Healy have addressed the situation publicly. However, this did not prevent admirers from making humorous remarks about the possibility of a relationship between the two. See the top responses below.
