Eurocrash marks the return of Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond for another The Grand Tour special.
The series will feature a 1,400-mile road journey through central Europe, beginning in Gdask, Poland, and continuing through Slovakia, Hungary, and Slovenia.
However, while most fans’ attention is presently focused on the new special, which will be released on Prime Video later this month, Clarkson has already begun previewing what fans can expect from the next two Grand Tour episodes, and he has indicated that they will be “slightly scary”
Clarkson, when asked what he could say about the next Grand Tour film following Eurocrash, responded: “For the next one – in truth, the next two – we’re back on slightly terrifying terrain, doing things that we did when we were in our 30s. But now that we’re in our 50s and 60s, I’m anxious about the next two decades.
Clarkson is already teasing the trio’s future despite Eurocrash’s release.
“Let’s assume we’re returning to Africa, and this one’s a doozy. It is difficult if you are youthful and fit, but I am not fit. I’m very obese. And I am now 63.”
Previously, Hammond stated that the trio is frequently in “real peril” while filming stunts for the show, stating: “We are in real peril because we’ve learned – I personally have learned and now James has learned better than most people – that just because you’re doing television doesn’t mean things can’t go wrong. Indeed, they do.
“And I’ve wound up in the hospital with damaged things, including my brain, because they break and there’s nothing you can do, no miraculous wand. There is no television barrier.”
May was most recently seen in another Prime Video series, Oh Cook!, and he will return with a new season of Our Man in…, which will take place in India.
Clarkson has a new season of Clarkson’s Farm in the works, but it has been reported that once his present agreement with Prime Video expires, the streaming service will no longer produce new seasons of Clarkson’s projects, including Clarkson’s Farm and The Grand Tour.
