Since the tumultuous season 10 reunion, Lisa Vanderpump has not spoken to Raquel Leviss.
“Four years before the show… That’s what I hope for them,” Vanderpump said. You can’t shut someone out. Maybe not that. We’ll be there for the conversation.”
Vanderpump also said the “Vanderpump Rules” conclusion was difficult to watch. The episode was taped after the season ended, leaving the emotions intense. Vanderpump appreciates the “ins and outs and shenanigans” of the program as a producer, but she struggles when she becomes emotionally committed in the group.
Vanderpump said her heart hurt for Sandoval and Leviss despite denouncing his conduct. “Of course, what he did… it cannot be condoned in any way,” she said. However, to witness the fallout’s total anguish and devastation.”
Sandoval and Leviss separated two months after their romance was revealed, ending Sandoval’s nine-year relationship with Ariana Madix. Vanderpump discussed her unique support of this group of pals with Sandoval in the season 10 finale.
She didn’t “pile on” the disaster by choosing sides since she doesn’t follow rules. Vanderpump said she criticized Sandoval’s conduct but couldn’t judge him by one error. “I feel like a mother to some of these children,” she said. When everyone criticizes him, will I join in? I’ll attempt to have optimism, not empathy. Maybe later.”
A source said Leviss sought mental health care in April. Before the affair was revealed, Leviss and her family decided on this course of action, and Bravo and production supported her mental health journey.
In March, Leviss apologized and pledged self-reflection. She emphasized counseling and realizing her codependency and love addiction. Leviss wanted to prioritize her health over toxic romantic relationships that may harm others and her friendships.
