Jennifer Aniston has ceased performing “painful” workouts and is now more “mindful” of her exercises in order to stay on her feet eternally.
According to femalefirst.co.uk, the 54-year-old actress explained that she used to compel herself to do up to an hour of intensive physical exercise daily, but that she now prefers “small movements” to stay in shape.
She told Today.com, “My previous workouts were exhausting and excruciating.” This is a functional workout. It involves modest, mindful movements.
My mind told me that if I didn’t exercise for 45 to 60 minutes, I’d die.
“I put my body through hell, and in the long run, fracturing your body and pressing it that hard yields diminishing returns. And I want to be able to move for as long as I live!”
The ‘Friends’ star then urged her followers to engage in a small amount of daily exercise because she has begun to appreciate staying in shape since learning to “push herself” in small amounts, before reiterating that she never wants to be confined to a wheelchair.
She stated, “Just do 10 to 20 minutes, for 10 to 20 minutes you can do anything. Additionally, you begin to appreciate it. I really do challenge myself, if only a little bit. I will instantly feel incredible. Instantaneously, you begin to experience endorphins and vitality.
“Not so much the cohort of my parents. So I would observe their bodies deteriorate. If I live to be 75 or 85, I do not wish to be in a wheelchair. I do not want to be carried to the restroom by another person. Mindfulness, mindfulness. That’s all there is to it!”
