There were numerous adorable and priceless Mother’s Day moments shared by local personalities from the entertainment industry.
From Boity’s beautiful photographs with her mother and other women in her family to Lynn Forbes’ (AKA’s mother) sincere message to her mother, there was a great deal of motherly affection shared online.
But perhaps there was no post as magnificent as Thobeka Majozi’s Instagram video of her son with her rapper beau, Cassper Nyovest.
Majozi commemorated the anniversary by posting a video of their 2-year-old kid copying his father’s provocative dance moves.
“I cannot believe I once existed in such a dull world without you,” she captioned the photo. “P.S. I’m making arrangements to attend the next music video directors’ meeting, because what is this?”
In the short footage, Phoolo can be seen viewing the music video for his father’s popular single “Nokuthula”, which features Legendary P and Busiswa.
He waits for one of the most thrilling instances in the video before striking his knuckles on his thighs in an animated manner, just as his father does in the video.
“Nokuthula” was initially published as part of the 2020 album “AMN (Any Minute Now)” by Nyovest, which was released a few days before the birth of his son and features an image of his son’s ultrasound as its cover art.
Nyovest joined over one thousand Instagram users in commenting on the video.
“Hahahaha. This is the most frightening thing I’ve ever seen from this individual, Yazi,” he said.
Since its initial upload on Sunday, the video has also been circulating on Twitter.
“Cassper’s @casspernyovest is the upcoming most popular video vixen ” Cass will feature the King Kgotso in your upcoming video. “Simba is the son of his father,” tweeted #ThePlvg.
