Sridevi was a brilliant Bollywood, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam actor. Had she accepted Steven Speilberg’s offer in the 1990s, she may have become a Western star.
Sridevi claimed in an interview during the marketing of her last film, Mom, that she was offered a role in Jurassic Park in 1993 but declined. She told Bollywood Hungama, “Those days, doing Hollywood films was alien, now it’s like a pride.”
Jurassic Park was critically and commercially successful. The film grossed over 900 million dollars worldwide.
Sridevi died on February 24, 2018.

A millionaire benefactor and his scientists created a dinosaur park in the film. However, the scientists and kids become trapped on the island with the dinosaurs causing havoc.
Sridevi rejected Darr and Jurassic Park at the height of her career. Sridevi told the reporters, “After Chandni and Lamhe, I feel Darr would have been an ordinary character for me. I would want to portray Shah Rukh Khan. Juhi’s new role benefited her. I have done it many times before.”
Sridevi died on February 24, 2018. Her demise devastated fans, friends, and family.
