Recently, online images of the Hong Kong singer-actor Pakho Chau have been proliferating that were not taken by him.
In one photograph, Pakho, 38, is entirely exposed while taking a shower. In the other, he endeavors to put on his undergarments while unaware that he is being filmed.
It appears that the photographs were shot in a public shower.
Due to concerns about privacy, AsiaOne will not publish the confidential images in this article.
However, some Internet users believe that Pakho’s visage may have been digitally superimposed onto the body of another naked male.
In spite of this, Pakho’s agency issued the following statement: “We have already contacted our attorneys and are awaiting their counsel. It is currently inconvenient for us to respond [to the situation].
We reserve the right to pursue legal action
According to the Hong Kong news outlet On.CC, actor Bosco Wong was similarly angered by the incident, telling reporters, “Being secretly photographed in such a manner is an invasion of privacy.” It is unethical and immoral to the extreme.
Since he has already contacted a counsel to manage this matter, I will keep my mouth shut.
In 2011, paparazzi captured Bosco in the buff inside the residence of his then-girlfriend Myolie Wu.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time Pakho has experienced such an intrusive event.
In 2018, while changing his clothing in the gym, he was secretly photographed by an 18-year-old teen, prompting him to submit a lengthy Instagram post that has since been deleted.
In addition to noting that it is illegal to take photographs in a changing room, the celebrity added that the act was ‘unacceptable’: “I wanted to question him for two reasons: firstly, to protect myself, and secondly, to let him know that he had committed a serious crime,” he wrote in the post.
Despite his anger, Pakho did not pursue charges because the adolescent had apologized and deleted the photos. It is unknown whether the recent photographs are associated with this incident.
