The creators of the film ‘Adipurush,’ a retelling of the Ramayana that was directed by Om Raut, said on Monday that the film had made Rs. 340 crore at the global box office in just three days.
The production company T-Series reported that the movie, which starred Prabhas in the lead role, earned Rs 100 crore on its third day of release around the world.
‘Adipurush’ grosses Rs 340 crore
“Adipurush” continues to enthrall fans of all ages, as seen by the film’s phenomenal opening weekend box office performance, which saw it surpass Rs. 340 crores. In a message that was published on the official T-Series Twitter feed, the company wrote, “Jai Shri Ram.”
The film stars Prabhas as Raghav (Ram), Kriti Sanon as Janaki (Sita) and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh (Raavan). Bhushan Kumar, who works for T-Series, is the producer of this record.
The multilingual 3D spectacular, which debuted in theaters on Friday, has received significant backlash due to the simplistic nature of its language.
Its Hindi dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla stated on Sunday that the filmmakers have chosen to ”revise some of the phrases,” and that the modified lines would be incorporated to the film by the end of this week at the latest.
In addition to Krishan Kumar, Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles, Pramod and Vamsi of UV Creations contributed to the production of “Adipurush.”
In addition to Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, the film has also been made available in those languages.
