“Has not gone away” is how DeVon Franklin described his feelings for Meagan Good.
Meagan, 41, and the 45-year-old film producer divorced last year; nonetheless, DeVon maintains that he still thinks highly of his ex-wife and that they keep in touch.
He said on “The Breakfast Club” that “the affection for us has not faded. It’s only changed shape.
DeVon admitted that after breaking up with the actress, his emotions have been all over the place.
The producer is currently feeling “much better” than he did immediately following their breakup, though.
Mentally, I’m doing lot better, he declared. However, the procedure is such that I can stand in front of you all and conduct this interview while being composed, reflective, and all that. But how can that happen, you ask?
DeVon said that he required time to “heal” as well.
There are evenings when I weep myself to sleep, he said.
There have been times when I’ve been furious, but I’ve allowed myself to feel whatever I felt in order to recover because, in my experience, if I don’t face my emotions, I’ll look for anything else to help me get through the pain.
Meanwhile, Meagan previously disclosed that following her breakup with DeVon, she has made an effort to maintain a good mindset.
Despite their public breakup, the actress is determined to maintain her positive outlook on the future.
Meagan, who was married to the producer from 2012 until 2022, spoke with E! News about her philosophy on life, saying: “Perception is everything; get enthusiastic for what’s coming.
Be delighted about it and have an open mind if God has permitted it and you have no control over it. What will come after that will be much better and even larger.
