The Ramayan-inspired epic mythological action picture directed by Om Raut has smashed records at the box office.
The Hindi language version of the film set a new record on the first day of its release, being the third biggest opener in post-pandemic times, behind only Pathaan and KGF 2.

During this time, Adipurush has been receiving backlash for the quality of its visual effects as well as the ‘tapori’-style lines that Devdatta Nage, who plays Lord Hanuman, has been speaking.
